The Red Chord apportera un petit changement à son alignement. Effectivement, le groupe n'aura pas mit beaucoup de temps pour trouver un remplacant à Brad Fickeisen, le drummer du moment de The Red Chord. Le groupe a trouvé dans les fonds des abîmes un certain Michael Justian. Ce nom est familier pour les fans de TRC. Pour les autres, il s'agit de l'ancien drummer du groupe. Michael Justian aura drummé pour TRC jusqu'à la fin de l'année 2003, puis a rejoint le groupe Unearth en 2004. Il a aussi joué pour Earth Crisis et plusieurs autres groupe.Voici ce que le guitariste de TRC avait à dire sur le sujet :
"It's great to be jamming with Mike again. His approach to drumming is truly unique and amazing. Even though it has been about 6 years since he has played this stuff, his playing is stronger than ever. We've rehearsed almost every day for the last month and we can't wait to do this live again."
Voici maintenant ce que Fickeisen avait à dire à son départ définitif du groupe :
"There is no easy way to go about leaving a busy band with plans in constant motion, but a little abruptly, I chose to depart from manning the kit for The Red Chord. I have had a great time for the past 5 years with these guys, and wouldn't exchange it for anything. Touring is tough, everyone who's done it, knows that. To keep it relatively short, I want to thank Greg, Guy, and Mike, and wish them the best of luck in the future. I will still be around in the music world. Thank you to everyone that I met along the way, and thank you to my friends and family for all of your support."
Il est aussi important de mentionner que aucune dates de spectacle ne sera annulée et que le groupe ne prendra aucun retard suite à ce changement de membres.
